Write a five hundred word essay with the theme – “It Takes A Whole Village”

Currently maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better (provide transcript to substantiate) (MATC students applying under third party scholarships for the Jason Matthews Scholarship must have a 2.0 g/p/a to apply).

At least three letters of references from either of the following:
1. Your Principal/Instructor
2. Guidance Counselor
3. Church Pastor/Reverend
4. Heads of any organizations to which you are affiliated (References from family members are not acceptable)

A letter indicating your reason(s) why you should be awarded the scholarship

A high quality photograph and your biography

Essays, biography, letters of references, and photographs must be emailed to mike@drtntscholarship.org and cc: patricia@milwaukeecommunityjournal.com  with subject line: "[first name] [last name] Scholarship application."

All scholarship recipients will be REQUIRED to attend the Scholarship Brunch date August 4, 2024
